Press Release Body: SAN FRANCISCO - Millennium Partners, the country's leading developer of mixed-use properties that integrate five-star hotels with luxury condominiums, announced its plans for Millennium Tower, a 60-story luxury condo residential tower currently under construction in San Francisco at 301 Mission Street.
Millennium Tower, the first Millennium Partners project in San Francisco to bear the company's name, will serve as a showcase for the extraordinary standards of design, services and amenities that epitomize the company's projects in some of the country's most dynamic neighborhoods, including New York's Central Park South and Lincoln Square, Boston's Public Garden and Boston Common, Washington's West End and Georgetown neighborhoods, and Miami's Brickell Avenue.
\"From Four Seasons Residences in San Francisco and The Phillips Club in New York City to Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami, Boston, and Washington, D.C., Millennium Partners has been the pioneer in bringing five-star services to luxury urban living,\" said Richard G. Baumert, Millennium Partners Managing Director. \"Millennium Partners has redefined the luxury residential experience by combining the highest standards of craftsmanship with a services- and amenities-rich environment that is second to none. We're very proud of Millennium Tower and creating our first branded residence in San Francisco, a beautiful city where we're happy to have put down substantial roots.\"
Over the past decade, Millennium Partners has created several of San Francisco's highest profile developments, including Four Seasons Hotel & Residences, the Metreon urban entertainment complex, and the recently opened Yerba Buena Lane, a charming retail enclave linking the Union Square shopping area with South of Market's burgeoning arts and museum district.
An oversized sign, measuring 216 feet by 30 feet, has been unveiled at the Millennium Tower site, giving passers-by their first glimpse of a rendering of the completed tower and depictions of the sweeping views. The project's website has also been launched, providing information on the three types of residences and the array of services and amenities that will characterize luxury condominium living at Millennium Tower.
Visually striking for its graceful elegance of design and distinctive blue glass curtain wall, Millennium Tower will be not only the tallest luxury residential property in San Francisco, but the tallest residential building west of the Mississippi and the fourth tallest structure on the San Francisco skyline.
Designed by acclaimed architect Glenn Rescalvo of Handel Architects, the 645-foot, 60-story luxury residential tower and an adjacent 11-story mid-rise building will comprise a total of 419 residences, including 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom + library, 3-bedroom and penthouse residences, ranging is size from approximately 750 square feet to 6,000 square feet. Each of the three residential components -- Residences at Millennium Tower, City Residences at Millennium Tower and Grand Residences at Millennium Tower -- will have its own separate and distinct entry and lobby as well their own dedicated staff. Plans also devote 7,800 square feet of sidewalk-level space to two retail occupants, one of which will be an upscale dining establishment under the direction of one of the city's outstanding chefs.
Located in one of the city's most exciting South of Market (SoMA) neighborhoods -- bounded by Mission, Fremont and Beale streets and the future Transbay Terminal -- Millennium Tower is steps from the Financial District, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and SoMA's burgeoning museum district and cultural corridors, Yerba Buena Gardens, The Embarcadero and the Ferry Building, and only a short distance from AT&T Park, Chinatown, South Beach, Union Square and the theater district.
Millennium Tower is also immediately adjacent to all public transportation and offers panoramic views of the city from elevations that other announced residential projects can not match due to the lower height restrictions.
Meticulous attention has been given to designing every detail of the residence interiors. From the living spaces and kitchens to the bedrooms and baths, only furnishings and finishes of the highest quality will be used. Resident services will include a private concierge and exclusive access to a 20,000-square-foot Club Level featuring an owners' lounge, tasting room and cellar, private dining room (serviced by the onsite restaurant), screening room, children's playroom, an outdoor terrace, and a 5,500-square-foot fitness center complete with Pilates and yoga studios, massage therapy, locker rooms, Jacuzzi and steam rooms as well as a 75-foot, indoor, competition-length lap pool set beneath a soaring skylight.
Occupancy for Millennium Tower residences is scheduled for summer 2009. Potential buyers may schedule an appointment to visit the sales center via email at SFLives@MillenniumTowerSF.com or by calling (414) 989-3333.
